Sophie came home from the vet today. She had exploratory surgery that releaved the presence of lymphosarcoma in her young pup body. Specifially there is a mass about 1.5 baseballs in size that they were not able to remove. Soph was happy to see us - greeting us with wags & licks. Her incision was pretty big, so she has a LOT of healing to do (in addition to the cancer).
We are greatful to have a community of professional health practitioners & healers that are contributing to the overall wellbeing of our beloved "snowpea".
While she is resting (beneath the desk right now), we are compiling information and gathering energy for her healing journey. We decided to set up this blog so that we can keep friends and family informed, as well as offer a place for folks to write messages in support of sophie's healing (a note, prayer, or loving thought, etc.)
This is an interesting but difficult part of life, and we will share information & links that appear to be helpful. Please check in often to see how our sweet sophalushka is doing.

Oooooh! How I love Sopha face. I hope she recovers back to her crazy, fun and fluffy self. Triscuit and I had a sit in the sun today and I thought of Sophie (so did Triscuit I'm sure... she did know Soph at such a young age in the ol' barn)...
Hope all goes well!!
Love you guys.

I know you will get to visit the dog park again on your journey to Ontario...
get better and tell your owners that they are the best and they will get through this rough time and we are thinking of them.
